Ingredients

  • 15 ml vodka
  • 15 ml gin
  • 15 ml tequila
  • 15 ml white rum
  • 15 ml triple sec orange liqueur
  • 22 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 15 ml simple syrup
  • 30 ml sweet and sour mix
  • Ice cubes as needed
  • 1 lemon wedge for garnish
  • Cola chilled, for topping

Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Highball glass
  • Bar spoon
  • Strainer
  • Jigger or measuring tool

Method

Step 1: Mix The Cocktail
  1. Add ice cubes to a cocktail shaker until it is about halfway full. Pour in the vodka, gin, rum, tequila, triple sec, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, and sweet and sour mix. Secure the lid and shake well for around 10 to 15 seconds until the drink becomes cold and well blended.
Step 2: Pour And Finish The Drink
  1. Take a highball glass and fill it with fresh ice. Strain the prepared cocktail into the glass, then carefully add cola on top until the glass is almost full. The cola gives the drink its classic deep color and refreshing taste.
Step 3: Add Garnish And Enjoy
  1. Give the cocktail a gentle stir to blend all the flavors together. Place a fresh lemon wedge on the edge of the glass for a bright citrus touch. Enjoy the Long Island Iced Tea immediately while it is fresh and chilled.
