  • 1 –2 tablespoons fresh lemon balm leaves or 1–2 teaspoons dried lemon balm leaves
  • 1 –2 teaspoons honey or to taste
  • ½ teaspoon fresh thyme leaves minced
  • ½ teaspoon fresh mint leaves finely chopped
  • 2 –3 lemon slices for garnish

Method
 

Step 1
  1. Bring 2 cups of water to a gentle boil. Take it off the heat, then add the lemon balm, thyme, and fresh mint. Cover the pot and let the herbs steep for 5–7 minutes so the flavors can blend nicely.
Step 2
  1. Strain the tea into two cups. Add ½–1 teaspoon of honey to each cup, depending on how sweet you like it. Finish with a slice of lemon and enjoy the tea while it’s warm.
