Step 1
- Pour water into a pot and bring it to a boil. Add the dried hibiscus petals, lower the heat, and let it gently simmer for about 8–10 minutes until the liquid becomes a rich red color and develops a strong flavor.
Step 2
- Take it off the heat and strain the liquid into a cup or teapot. While it’s still warm, mix in honey or sugar, then add a bit of lemon juice and stir. Drink it warm, or chill it for a cool, refreshing version.
