  • 1 cup water
  • ½ teaspoon natural honey
  • 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice

Equipment

  • Small saucepan or kettle
  • Tea strainer (if using loose leaves)
  • Teacup
  • Spoon

Method

Step 1: Brew The Tea
  1. Heat the water until it just starts to boil, then take it off the heat and let it sit for about 30 seconds so it’s not too hot (around 80–85°C is perfect). Add your loose green tea leaves or a tea bag and let it steep for 2–3 minutes. Once done, strain out the leaves or remove the tea bag.
Step 2: Add Flavor & Serve
  1. While the tea is still warm, stir in the honey and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Give it a good mix, then serve right away to enjoy the best taste and benefits.
