Step 1: Prepare The Ingredients
- Peel and lightly crush the garlic cloves to release their flavor. Grate the fresh ginger and measure the lemon juice, honey, and cinnamon stick or black pepper.
Step 2: Simmer The Tea Base
- Pour the water into a small saucepan and place it over medium heat. Add the crushed garlic, grated ginger, and cinnamon stick. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 8–10 minutes.
Step 3: Strain And Flavor
- Remove the saucepan from the heat. Strain the tea through a fine mesh strainer into a heatproof jug or directly into serving cups. Stir in the lemon juice and honey until fully dissolved.
Step 4: Serve And Enjoy
- Pour the hot garlic tea into mugs and serve immediately. For a stronger flavor, allow the tea to steep for an extra 2–3 minutes before straining. Enjoy warm for the best taste and aroma.
