Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup hot sauce such as Frank’s RedHot
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons molasses or brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1 teaspoon chipotle powder or cayenne pepper adjust for heat
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Melt & Combine
  1. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the hot sauce, ketchup, and molasses (or brown sugar). Stir well until fully combined.
Season & Simmer
  1. Add the apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, celery salt, chipotle (or cayenne), garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper. Stir continuously and let the sauce simmer gently for about 8–10 minutes.
Adjust & Serve
  1. Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning or heat level if needed. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving. Use immediately or store in an airtight container.
